Hi! I'm Eliza Todd
I am an artist, writer, and maker of things.
For nearly 15 years I have been licensing my artwork to companies around the world, partnering with brands like Barnes and Noble, Hallmark, Hobby Lobby, Joann, UncommonGoods, and Demdaco to create art and design for home decor, stationery, and gift products. Through those partnerships, my work has helped sell more than ten million dollars worth of products on shelves across the country.
But the most meaningful thing I discovered during all of that creating was not about the art itself.
It was about what the creative process does for us on the inside.
Why I Do What I Do
I see the creative process as a powerful means to connect with and understand ourselves and the world around us. One of the most life-changing discoveries I made along the way was uncovering how impactful a regular creative practice is in supporting mental health and healing.
Life can be messy and heartbreaking, but it can also be beautiful, rich, and full of joy. Words and images have the power to reach through our outer layers and straight to the soul. They can make you feel seen, heard, understood, and maybe even a little more at peace.
And yet, there are times we just need a hand. I sure know I do.
When we give and receive in the vulnerable spaces, it is a reminder that we are not alone in this big, sometimes unpredictable world.
You matter. Your story matters. And speaking to and about this message is at the core of why I do what I do.

A Little More About My Journey
I found that a regular creative practice has an immense power to calm our minds, heal our hearts, and breathe life into our souls. That discovery changed everything for me and became my greatest passion, helping others find a creative practice of their own, one that can become a healing, peace-filled refuge in the middle of whatever life brings.
That is what A Peace of Werk is all about.
Along the way I have also published several books and illustrated two wellness books, which gave me a deep appreciation for how words and images work together to carry meaning and move people.
